10 Tips On Rehydrating Your Skin This Summer

We’ve got an ideal weather this spring but it won’t be too long until summer comes. We’ll all start planning our escapades and most of us fond of sun and sand will surely hit the beach. While we’re busy prepping up our beach bods, let’s make sure we don’t take our skin for granted. Here are some tips on how to rehydrate the skin:

* SPRITZ MIST.

You took a short but pretty hot walk this morning to work. Rashes began to sting on your neck, chest, underarm, thighs.
Remember that it’s humid and anything you put on your skin will easily be absorbed.

CLEANSE.

Use a gentle cleanser without alcohol and artificial fragrance to cleanse, purify, tighten and hydrate the skin.

CONTROL TEMPERATURE.

Avoid washing your skin with very hot water as it may aggravate the dryness of the skin. Bathe in water that’s warm enough to calm and relax you, but not too hot to magnify the warm feeling.

MOISTURIZE.

The perfect time to moisturize is after bath when our pores are clean and wide open. During this time, our skin easily absorbs moisturizers. Just make sure you are using a moisturizer that fits your skin type. USE VIVAcity Day cream

NO SCRUBBING.

Deal with sunburnt skin gently. NEVER scrub it with loofah, stones, or exfoliating gloves. You’ll only punish yourself with excruciating pain and you’ll not gain anything from it. Instead, we recommend that you…

EXFOLIATE.

Exfoliating cleansers do just the right amount of pressure and skin polishing. It has natural foaming and cleansing extracts that gently and evenly polishes skin with non-irritating fine grains that helps in slowly getting rid of dead skin cells. The patches will be less and not too visible

SHIELD WITH SUNSCREEN.

Choose a sunscreen that is greaseless so that you can walk around without your face appearing all shiny & sweaty

DRINK WATER

Your water intake helps a lot in keeping your skin fresh and supple. Also, with enough water in the body, the healing process is faster. Make sure you gulp down 6-8 glasses a day.

EAT FRUITS

Like what we always say, although eating fruits and drinking water do not give us immediate results, these are part of a long term routine that helps hydrate and soften the skin. Start by taking less soda and drinking more fresh juice.

OMEGA 3

Eat food rich in Omega 3 to boost skin’s suppleness. Omega 3 is found in salmon and trout, and peanuts too. It helps boost the skin’s moisture level, thus easily replacing dead skin cells with new one
